Cruise - BVI

At Tortola we used Tortola charters.  We had planned to go to the Baths again.  However, there were 4-5 swells in the area, so we went to the Caves instead.  It is amazing how much difference there can be in a small area.  There were only 7 of us on this big catamaran sailboat.  We would highly recommend Tortola Charters.  The BVI has become one of my favorite ports.

Our charter for the day.

Nice big trampoline in front for lounging.

One of several caves that we snorkeled through.  There was every color of fish that you can imagine.

Inside one of the caves.

After the caves, we stopped at Norman island for lunch, beach time, and some snorkeling from shore.

A couple of other kids were jumping off of the front into the water.  CJ couldn't pass up the chance, but he had a pretty good belly flop.

The captain let him navigate for awhile.  At one point, mom was up front on the trampoline.  I heard the captain say, "uh oh.  3 seconds later, the mom was splashed by a huge wave.  My guess is that he might have steered around it, but you should have seen the grin on CJ's face.
