As Spring turned to Summer, there was more soccer and Royals games.  CJ was selected to his leagues All Star game.  His team won the tourney.  Later he tried out for the competitive team, and 3 players from his old team and him will be on a new team together.

CJ was slammed to the ground.

His pay back was drilling the PK for a goal.

CJ and 3 teammates that were selected to the all star tourney.

After winning the tourney going 3-1.

Bark at the K.  I am sure the grounds keeper loved having 1000 dogs on the field and in the bullpen.

Lucky is not well behaved enough to go yet.

After 2 tough days of tryouts for the competitive league.

At the MLB Futures game

We had our regular seats.

Not quite as close for the All Star game.

Cranium Cam on the big board at the K.

At Ocean's of fun.
The spring was filled with Cub Scouts, Soccer, Baseball, Royals games, not to mention training a new puppy.

This was after he was promoted to the next rank in Cub Scouts.

CJ's new puppy - Lucky.  At this point she looked a lot more like a Heeler.

Now she looks a lot like a German Shepherd.

See the next post for the explanation for why we ended up at Disney World.

Dodging the raindrops at Epcot

One of our favorites at Epcot

This is what you get at Disney for $300 per night when you call on the way from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando.

39 degrees when we got to the Magic Kingdom.  We were planning on being in Aruba and Curacao.

I had my fill after 3 rides in a row of Space Mountain.  At this point, the lines were short.

I can see the insurance bill now.

Papa and Grandma Mary met us at Downtown Disney.

Funny, the line for Splash Mtn. was short when the weather was in the 50's.
By far the best ride in any of the parks.

This pretty much sums us up.  CJ being fearless, Mom trying to keep from getting wet, and me taking a picture.
Tower of Terror
After about the 5th Splash Mountain ride in a row.
The Aerosmith Rocking Roller Coaster.  Even an ear infection didn't slow him down.
