The 2nd Annual Big Bad Pumpkin Derby.

He did very well.  64 pumpkin cars entered the double elimination tournament.  He won the first 5 races before losing the last two.  He was 4th overall, and 2nd in the Parent/Child category.  The best race was when the huge pumpkin (my guess at least 100 pounds) with wheel chair wheels crashed with another car about 6 inches from the line.  CJ's froggy pumpkin hit the wall, spun around backwards, and crossed the finish line about 30 seconds later.

Early Fall

Once again he is messing with me.  I asked him to straighten up.

He was allowed on the dugout at the Season ticket holders party.

Believe it or not he loves climbing on the ladder.  I get some attitude from him if I clean the cutters without him.  We had to clean some mildew off of the north side of the house.  He had to have his turn.

Colorado vacation -

To many pics and I am to far behind to put a caption on each pic.
The highlights:
(1) Swimming at the Hot Springs in Ouray. This year CJ had to do a 50 meter swimming test to be allowed to ride the slides. We were very impressed that he was able to pass.
(2) Taking a jeep tour to the top of Imogene pass.
(3) Camping with friends

(4) Climbing to the top of Crested Butte. It was a complete scramble at the top.

(5) CJ, Scooby and me did a little hiking/rock climbing around Arrowhead. It was great until we happened upon two snakes in two different places. I HATE snakes.
